The Illusionist
If there’s one thing I know about myself, it’s that I can see what I want in my mind — crystal clear — but I struggle to bring it to life on paper. The imagination is there, but the artistry, the technical magic of turning thoughts into something that people can actually see… that’s not my skill.
That’s where The Illusionist comes in.
The Illusionist is the creative force who helps shape what I imagine — transforming my ideas into something real and tangible. Of course, that kind of talent and time doesn’t come for free, so I’ve structured a fair deal. The Illusionist receives 10% of all donations toward The End.
Early on, their role is huge — bringing the foundation, the design, and the world of As It Was Now And Then to life. But as the site matures, the workload eases. That’s why 10% feels fair — a recognition of both risk and contribution.
Still, I know what I’m building could grow into something much larger than expected. So I’ve set a ceiling of $50,000 per financial year for the Illusionist’s share. Anything beyond that limit doesn’t vanish — it goes straight into the Share Account, to reward the community of donators who helped make this dream possible.
It’s a win for everyone who sees the vision and believes in what As It Was Now And Then can become.
